Camping Trip

July 16th-18th we went down to Capital Reef National Park and went camping with Ryan's family. I love camping and I am so happy we went. Ryan's grandpa actually grew up where we stayed. Ryan's great grandparents eventually sold it to the state (I believe thats how the story goes). So there is a lot of family history down there so it is always fun to go.

This is Bailey... she is so cute, she is Ryan's cousin's little girl

This is what Capital Reef looks like, we went to the little park area to play.
We saw a ton of deer while we were there. Jenn and Bailey got really close to this one. They named it Bob. Whenever Bailey saw a deer she would call it Bob!
This is where Ryan's grandpa grew up... My Camera went crazy after this picture so when I get copies from Jenn of the house and cousins I will post them.
Not far from the camping area is a waterfall where we go every time we come. Lots of people jump off the rocks or just swim. This is Jenn watching the boys jump.
Ryan and Casey deciding on a plan while Carson and Brandon are behind them.
Also while we were there, Uncle Wayne took us on a hike. It was a fun hike *some parts were a little scary* but I could totally tell I was out of shape by the end of the hike.

I am sad I wasn't able to make it...but kinda glad I didn't because it was so dang hot!

Oh, and great grandma and grandpa were kinda forced to sell their land to the state because they wanted to make it part of Capitol Reef National Park. They really didn't want to leave but eventually had to. I am just glad they didn't demolish the house or the barn!

Kristin!!! Of Course I don't mind that you found my blog, silly! :) Now I get to see yours!!! Man, it's been way too long since we've seen each other. We need to plan some sort of reunion or somethin. Sounds like you and Ryan are doing well... I'm excited to keep tabs on you!
