Sorry no pictures just long boring narrative haha... So I have been super busy lately! School started so I am doing that full time while working full time. Not always fun but will be worth it in the end. My classes this semester are really fun and fascinating (well at least to me they are). Here is what I am taking...
1. Middle Childhood (we learn about 6-11 year olds)
2. Understanding Children (if every one took this class there would be a lot less child abuse in the world)
3. Practicum Lab (I teach/help in the 3-4 yr old preschool class on Tuesdays, I absolutely love this class)
4. Childhood Health Care I
If you don't know, my major is Human and Family Development with an emphasis as a child life specialist. Even if I never use my major in a career setting I get to use it on my children that I hope to have one day. After this semester I have about 2 semesters left. I actually only have 3 classes left for my major but I won't have enough credits to graduate :( so hopefully just one more semester next summer or fall and I will be done!
I am trying to think of what else has been going on but really I spend all my weekends doing homework!
We saw Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and it was sooo good! We laughed so hard during it. It was either super funny or because we were super tired and saw it at 10:15pm... but I am pretty sure it was really good.
This up coming week is filled with weddings. Thursday is our friend Dukes wedding we are so happy for him. Friday one of my dearest friends that I have known since Jr.High is getting married but her reception is Saturday so I am driving down to Vegas to be there for her :) Another friend of mine was going to get married this Saturday but had to postpone until December but I am still happy for her as well!
Ryan and his parents are going to San Francisco in November (Ryan served his mission there, Chinese speaking) and tonight he talked to one of the lady's from the area. It is so cool to hear him speak Chinese, I was thinking of taking a video of it because it sounds so awesome. I am sad that I can't go with (I can't miss school) but hopefully we will get there next summer.
