Last Friday (the 5th) Ryan and I received a package from my mom. It was pretty large and a bit heavy. We excitedly opened it up and it was full of small gifts. Each numbered 1 through 7. There was a paper in the box and it said it was a college survival kit and we were to open one package a day (hence the numbers 1 through 7). There were so many cute things in there. We loved opening the little packages and seeing what was in there. Here is a picture of everything that was in there. You could tell she spent a lot of time and $$ on it. I love my mom and am grateful for her!
Each item had a scripture or really cute saying that went with it. Here are three samples of what was in the package and what saying went with it. 1. One day had a picture of Christ(that we are to hang on our mirror) and the saying attached to it said, "Each time you look in the mirror, remember that the Lord loves you and He wants you to succeed." 2. The item was a kite and the saying was, "Aim at the sun. You may not reach it, but you will fly higher than if you never aimed at all." 3. Popcorn and the saying was, "Continue popping with education enthusiasm." My mom Rocks!!! I love her tons!
